Halloween Activities
This Halloween will unfortunately be different than every year prior due to COVID-19. However, many places are still trying to keep the normalcy for Halloween activities. There many not be as many indoor events this year or your favorite festivals and fairs but plenty of other Halloween events are still underway. Below is a list of events taking place this year:
The Haunt (1256 28th St. SW, Wyoming ) Every Sunday, Friday, Saturday from October 2, 2020 – November 7, 2020
The Haunt is West Michigan’s premier haunted attraction now for 18 years. This year, the Haunt will limit the amount of groups that will be allowed to visit the attraction this year. In order for groups to maintain proper social distancing, masks are required.
New Salem Corn Maze Haunted Activities (4516 24th St. Dorr) Oct. 2 – 31
The New Salem Corn Maze “Witches of New Salem” haunted woods is a frightening Halloween event experience with over 20 attractions and dozens of actors and props. Also, enjoy the haunted corn maze and zombie attack. Face masks and social distancing required.
Haunted Sunflower Maze (17647 40th Ave. Conklin, MI) Every Friday and Saturday in October, 9:00 – 11:00 PM
Come out to get CREEPED OUT in the Haunted Sunflower Maze. Pay for admission in the market where you will find HOT apple turnovers, fresh fall donuts, HOT apple cider and cocoa and so much more!! It will be a GHOULISH good time!! Best for ages 10+
Kids Spooky Forest (Canonsburg Ski Area 6800 Canonsburg Rd. Belmont, MI) Every Saturday, October 10-31, 3:00 – 5:00 PM
The Spooky Forest is an interactive, outdoor Halloween experience for kids. It’s designed for a younger crowd who have the ability to walk (or be carried) 1/2 mile. There will be some spooky props in the forest, but they will be balanced out by fun, kid friendly Halloween attractions. The best part of The Spooky Forest is that you and your family can enjoy being active outdoors, while having fun with Halloween characters.
Ghoul Golf @ Great Lakes Glow Golf (3494 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids) September 29 – November 8
Ghoul Golf is a limited time attraction at Great Lakes Glow Golf. The 18 hole Halloween theme minigolf experience is like no other! It’s sure to be a little scary and a lot of fun!

Trunk or Treat (North Blendon Churches, corner of 72nd and Taylor Street) Saturday, October 31, 2020 5:00 – 6:30 PM
Join Blendon Churches for the trunk or treat event on Saturday, October 31. Rain or shine, we will be outside. Come for donuts, hot chocolate, apple cider, and trick or treating!

Critter barn is celebrating Halloween this year at the farm. Join them on October 31 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM for decorations, costumes, candy, and of course, visits with all of Critter Barn’s animals. Pre-registration is required. Join the Bridge Street Market for a family friendly trick or treat experience alongside some of your favorite local vendors. A tax-deductible donation to Remembrance Ranch in the following manner will gain you access to the event: A child’s ticket is a donation of $10.00 (12 and under) and an adult ticket is a donation of $15.00
Trunk or Treat – Zeeland (6344 Adams St. Zeeland, MI) Saturday, October 31, 2020 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Trunk or Treat – Gobles (Downtown business district) Saturday, October 31, 2020 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
M-40 Highway will be closed to vehicle traffic from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Participation for Trick or Treating throughout the city by homeowners is voluntary from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The trunk or treat was not planned to replace traditional trick or treating, but to complement and provide a fun and safe area for all! Gobles City, along with Journey Family Church, Calvary Baptist Church, Gobles United Methodist Church, and the Presbyterian Church will be hosting this years Trunk or Treat.
